Pathways to Wellness

Life can be messy and complex, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Together, we’ll create a compassionate, personalized plan that celebrates your strength and resilience and also honors the richness of your experiences, helping you reclaim your power and move toward healing, wholeness, and a life shaped by your values and vision.

Compassionate Care That Honors Your Story

Here are the 5 ways we can help you.

Medication Wellness

As an ABRxP Board Certified Prescribing Psychologist, Dr. Rebecca Richey integrates psychological expertise and clinical psychopharmacology to deliver personalized, evidence-based medication wellness care. Her work is dedicated to supporting women, girls (ages 9 and up), and gender-diverse individuals by integrating mental health treatment with a profound understanding of how emotions, behaviors, and lived experiences influence well-being

Unlike traditional approaches that focus solely on diagnosing and prescribing, Dr. Richey takes a collaborative and compassionate approach. She doesn’t believe in quick fixes. Instead, she works hand-in-hand with her clients to co-create personalized care plans that honor their strength, resilience, and individuality. By examining the whole person—emotional health, physical health, life circumstances, and personal goals—she ensures that every step is carefully considered.

For those seeking a medication provider who genuinely listens and understands, Dr. Richey offers a safe, empowering space where individuals can explore treatment options that align with their values. With her guidance, clients feel informed, supported, and confident in their path toward healing and self-discovery.

How Does It Work?

As one of Colorado’s first psychologist prescribers, Dr. Richey must follow a few specific state regulations to be able to offer this unique blend of expertise to women.

First, your primary care provider (PCP) must agree to collaborate with Dr. Richey as part of your medication wellness team. This collaboration is required by Colorado law. If you don’t have a PCP, Dr. Richey unfortunately cannot prescribe medications. However, feel free to ask for referrals—there are several PCPs who already work with Dr. Richey and may be a good fit for you.

Once your PCP is on board, Dr. Richey will schedule a 90-minute intake session to review your medical history and explore your life, family, and work. Together, you and Dr. Richey will collaboratively decide whether medication is appropriate and, if so, which options might best support your needs. As a prescribing psychologist, Dr. Richey can only prescribe on-label psychotropic medications for diagnosed mental health conditions, and any medication changes must also be agreed upon by your PCP.

In addition to medication, Dr. Richey draws on over 20 years of experience as a psychologist and therapist to offer holistic wellness recommendations. After your initial session, you’ll meet with Dr. Richey at least once every three months to continue your prescription. More frequent visits are encouraged if you are adjusting to a new medication or experiencing any difficulties.

Assessments

Clarity Through Comprehensive Evaluations

Navigating life as a woman, girl, or gender-diverse individual can be complex, especially when juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. If you’ve ever felt like something was “off” but couldn’t quite pinpoint it, a neurodivergence assessment through Dr. Richey could provide the clarity and support you deserve.

Dr. Richey offers comprehensive neurodivergence assessments designed specifically for women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. Her work focuses on ADHD in women, particularly those navigating perimenopause. She emphasizes the importance of understanding how hormonal changes at this stage affect cognitive function and how ADHD interacts with these shifts, creating a personalized plan for success.

Beyond ADHD assessments, Dr. Richey provides Autism evaluations for women and girls over 12, pre-bariatric assessments to support your health journey, and psychoeducational assessments to help identify your learning needs and strengths. These assessments aren’t just about obtaining a diagnosis—they’re about gaining knowledge, developing strategies, and thriving in every area of life.

Dr. Richey’s goal is to help clients uncover the unique ways their minds work so they can navigate the world on their own terms and feel empowered every day. Through a personalized approach, she works with clients to explore their strengths and challenges, creating strategies that honor their individuality.
